Training & Certifications

Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) certification offers recognition to practitioners who are interested or are just starting a career in project management. Offered by Project Management Institute (PMI®), the CAPM® certification is acquired after successfully completing the exam, which is based on the Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide)—Seventh Edition. The CAPM® training program offered by Multimatics is design to provide thorough understanding of the fundamental knowledge, terminology, and processes of effective project management. The training material is prepared based on the latest edition of the PMBOK® 7th Edition, accompanied by discussions and exercises to work on the questions.

Multimatics is an Authorized Training Partner for the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) training and certification program accredited by the Project Management Institute (PMI®) Indonesia Chapter.

At the end of the program, the participants will be able to :

  • Understand the project management framework based on PMBOK® 7th edition
  • Establish how project activities are interrelated
  • Know when and how to use recognized tools and techniques for managing projects
  • Understand specific definitions, acronyms, and terminology based on PMBOK® Guide
  • Understand how to apply predictive, adaptive, and hybrid project management approaches that are suitable for the projects’ distinct requirements
  • Satisfy the 23 hours formal Project Management training requirement for future professional certification with the PMI®

The program is designed for individuals who contribute specialized skills to a project team. Individuals who do not have project experience but are interested in project management can also benefit from this certification by demonstrating their professional knowledge.

The program is a 3-day intensive training class.

Participants are required to have the following:

  • Have a secondary degree, such as a high school diploma, GED (general educational development), or global equivalent,or
  • Have at least 23 contact hours of project management education completed before the exam.

Participants will take CAPM® Exam which consists of 150 multiple choice questions (135 scored questions + 15 unscored/pre-test questions). They will be given 180 minutes to finish the exam. Participants who successfully passed the exam will be given an official Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) certification from PMI®.

The program provided by Multimatics will be delivered through interactive presentation by professional instructor(s), group debriefs, individual and team exercises, behavior modelling and roleplays, one-to-one and group discussion, case studies, and projects.
