Data Science with KNIME

KNIME, the Konstanz Information Miner, is a free and open-source data analytics, reporting and integration platform. KNIME integrates various components for machine learning and data mining through its modular data pipelining "Building Blocks of Analytics" concept. The Data Science with KNIME training program offered by Multimatics is designed to help participants understand the application of data science using KNIME software. Participants will get many case studies of applying Machine Learning. It is expected that after attending this training, participants will be ready to face the challenges of cases in the application of Machine Learning in the real life.

At the end of the program, the participants will be able to :

  • Understand critical data science concepts
  • Make use of KNIME functions and debugging tools
  • Understand Supervised and Unsupervised Learning Algorithms
  • Implement data science projects using CRISP-DM Methodology
  • Build Machine Learning Models

This program is designed everyone who want to get into data science or want to use data science to enrich their personal and professional projects. You do not need any prior experience in data analytics, however, it will help you to have some knowledge of KNIME and familiarity with high school level mathematics. Even though this is a beginner level course on data science, experienced developers will be able to improve their KNIME skills by working with real-world data.

This program is 5 days of intensive training class.

  • Hardware

    This program requires a computer system for the instructor and one for each student. The minimum hardware requirements are as follows:

    • Processor: i5
    • Memory: 8 GB RAM
    • Hard Disk: 10 GB
    • An internet connection
  • Software

    The minimum software requirements are as follows:

    • KNIME

The program provided by Multimatics will be delivered through interactive presentation by professional instructor(s), group debriefs, individual and team exercises, behavior modelling and roleplays, one-to-one and group discussion, case studies, and projects.

There is no specific examination in this program, but participants fully attended this program will be given a Certificate of Completion from Multimatics.
