In today's rapidly evolving digital landscape, enterprises that understand their talent demands and know how to address them have a competitive advantage amongst their competitors. Do you agree?
Enterprises are investing huge amounts of money in new technology and infrastructure as they undergo a digital transformation, and talents hold the key to realizing the benefits of these investments. According to McKinsey & Company, right talents might accelerate digital transformation by 20 to 30%.
To prepare digital enterprises and their future ready-talents, the University of Waterloo developed the Future Ready Talent Framework (FRTF) which aimed to help enterprises understand the skills their employees need to have and how to hire the right future-talents.
What's the Future Ready Talent Framework for Digital Enterprise
1. Expand and Transfer Expertise
Enterprises should seek talents who can demonstrate their expertise in a given field. Find talents who have agility so they can stay competitive and win the competition.
2. Develop Self
Enterprises should seek talents that can self-manage by approaching their task with a positive attitude. They should be encouraged to practice self-assessment.
3. Build Relationship
Talents who can communicate well and listen to others will be needed. Enterprises should promote collaboration by encouraging staff to work well with various stakeholder groups.
4. Design and Deliver Solutions
Enterprises should seek talents that are willing to take calculated risks and exhibit a creative approach. Find talents who know how to manage their time and put plans into action.
