Jakarta (13/12), Blibli.com has officially received ISO/IEC 27001: 2013 Certificate from British Standard Institution (BSI). The inauguration was witnessed by Badan Siber dan Sandi Negara (BSSN) and attended by the Executive Director of Multimatics, Agus Setiawan. Ongkowijoyo, Vice President of Infrastructure and Technical Support of Blibli.com said that the success of Blibli.com in obtaining ISO/IEC 27001: 2013 was the result of implementing various strategies, including in the field of IT architecture and application programming interface (API) to ensure Blibli.com's resilience to data security, both company and customer data. "Through this standardization, Blibli.com wants to increase the awareness of all stakeholders in e-commerce industry, ranging from business people to customers on the importance of prioritizing data security, not only customer data but also company data," said Ongkowijoyo. Erna Damayanty as Managing Director of BSI Indonesia stated the ISO/IEC 270001 standard was originally a British Standard 7799 which was adopted as an ISO standard that has been recognized by 164 countries in the world. ISO/IEC 27001 certificate given to Blibli.com issued by British Standard Institution as the creator of ISO/IEC 27001 standard which has international accreditation. To receive ISO/IEC 27001 standard, the requirements are strict and shall go through a quite long and difficult process. “Blibli.com has received ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certificate regarding Information Security Management System after go through a comprehensive audit process. The success of Blibli.com obtained certificate indicates that the e-commerce has paid attention to data security, both company and customers data", Erna said. Executive director of Multimatics, Agus Setiawan, stated that according to The Global Risk Report 2019 by World Economic Forum, cyber-attacks has high risk score and becomes one of the top 10 risk lists in the term of likelihood and impact.
