Data Management Body of Knowledge v2 (DMBoK2)

The Data Management Body of Knowledge v2 (DMBoK2) training program offered by Multimatics is designed to help participants gain the ability to compile data governance in several areas of knowledge in data management. Participants will also learn how to synchronize data management with the enterprise architecture framework so they are able to maximize the value of data for the company or organization. The training material is prepared based on the latest edition of Data Management Body of Knowledge v2 (DMBoK2), accompanied by discussions and exercises to work on the questions.

Program Objectives

At the end of the program, the participants will be able to :

  • Understand different classification and types of data/information, which will strengthen the knowledge and skills in managing the complexity of data
  • Understand the architectural options for data warehousing and distribution, including repository and registry
  • Identify management issues and techniques using proper data processing regardless of data complexity

This program is 5 days of intensive training class.

Method of Delivery

The program provided by Multimatics will be delivered through interactive presentation by professional instructor(s), group debriefs, individual and team exercises, behavior modelling and roleplays, one-to-one and group discussion, case studies, and projects.

Examination Format

Participants will take Data Management Fundamentals Exam which consists of 100 multiple choice questions. They will be given 90 minutes to finish the exam, but for the ESL version will be given additional 20 minutes to complete the exam. Participants who successfully passed the exam will be given an official Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) Associate certification from DAMA International.
