Jakarta, 3 July 2018 – Seminar Strategi Penerapan Tata Kelola TI untuk Memaksimalkan Kinerja dan Transformasi Bisnis BUMN was held by Multimatics with PT Telkom, Tbk., at The Westin, Retreat Lounge, on Tuesday, 3 July 2018. This seminar aimed to align the perspective on the importance of IT Governance Strategy Implementation within organization, particularly for State-Owned-Enterprises (SOE) or BUMN, according to PER-03/MBU/02/2018. It was attended by more than 150 participants of Directors and IT Enablers from BUMN all over Indonesia.
This seminar was started by singing Indonesia Anthem song, Indonesia Raya, by all of the participants which was followed by the opening speech from Imam Bustomi, Chairman of FORTI BUMN. “The functions of IT are not only as a business supporter, but also as driver and enabler so that customer centricity can be achieved. This is important if SOEs want to survive in this fierce and competitive disruption era,” said Imam Bustomi during his speech. He emphasized that SOEs must rethink the function of IT nowadays to be able to compete with private companies.
After Imam Bustomi delivered his opening speech, the gong was announced. The seminar was officially opened after the gong announcement done by Imam Bustomi and Judy Achmadi, EVP Enterprise Solution of PT Telkom, Tbk.
This seminar was divided into three insightful sessions. First session discussed about IT Governance with the speakers Judy Achmadi, EVP Enterprise Solution PT Telkom Tbk., DR. Tony D. Susanto, Chapter President AISINDO, and Kaustuv De, Senior Consultant Quint Wellington Redwood. “What we need in the implementation of IT Governance is not a Super Star, but a Super Team,” Judi Achmadi explained in his session. He also added, “Super Team has to have Business Agility and Team Agility in Digital Maturity Level which was initiated and developed by Open Digital Maturity Model.”
Second session discussed about IT Service Management with the following speakers Juang Panjaitan, VP Enterprise System & Architecture TelkomTelstra, Arief Sunandar, VP IT Delivery Channel Support Bank Mandiri, dan Irfan Hidayat, Business Director Quint Wellington Redwood.
Last but not least, the third session focused on Cyber Security which was delivered by DR. Desmond Devendran as Project Consulting Director of Logical Operations. During his fun and engaging session, Desmond revealed, “ISO 27001 is the best management system used to reduce loss and damage from cyber-crime, meanwhile if you would like to build your capacity, you can refer to NIST cyber-sec framework which covers category and function of identify, protect, detect, respond, and recover.”
The whole sessions of the seminar was closed by lucky draw and giveaway winners’ announcement.
