Jakarta, Indonesia (30/10/2018) - Seminar of Business Agility and DevOps: The Nexus to Accelerate Digital Transformation was held by Multimatics with Quint Wellington Redwood at Auditorium, Multimatics Office, on Tuesday, 30 October 2018. This seminar aimed to spread the awareness of the importance of Business Agility and DevOps to prepare the organizations in facing the emerging digital transformation nowadays. It was attended by more than 40 participants of IT Enablers from various organizations—government institutions, SOEs (BUMNs), multinational companies, and more.

This seminar was divided into three sessions. The first session was delivered by Maurice Boon, CEO of Quint Wellington Redwood and also the chairman board of DevOps Agile Skills Association (DASA). Maurice discussed about the importance of DevOps as business now can disrupt the status quo by optimizing technology.

Arief Sunandar, VP IT Delivery Channel Support and VP Release Management and Testing Services of Bank Mandiri, shared his story of overcoming the challenges through Agile and DevOps in the second session. He explained how he built the pilot team in the mission of creating a product that is able to not only fulfill the user’s (one of the biggest e-commerces in Indonesia) requirement, but also surpassed their expectation.

In the final session, Michiel de Boer, Director Consulting Asia of Quint Wellington Redwood, conveyed about Agile Business Transformation. He explained further how business models are transforming, from products to customer journey. He also discussed about types of organization and how to achieve the High Performing Organization (HPO) state from the current state.
