LSP FPSB Indonesia is a non-profit and independent (not attached and related to any financial institution, government, or business organization), established on February 15th, 2006, in form of Foundation legal entity and has been cooperating with Financial Planning Standards Board Ltd. (FPSB), license holder of CFP, Certified Financial Planner, and CFP (with logo) for region outside of USA by signing on License and Affiliation agreement so that LSP FPSB Indonesia able to perform and administer CFP and RFP certification programs (pathway programs towards CFP) in Indonesia exclusively starting in 2007. LSP FPSB Indonesia hold responsibility to conduct CFP and RFP certification programs in Indonesia; exercise localization of CFP and RFP global certification standard in Indonesia; register education institutions that offer financial planning training; oversee and ensure examination administration; ensure every individuals, who are using CFP and RFP marks in Indonesia, are indeed entitled, determine and ensure they exercise the initial competency as well as the sustainability, and fulfill the ethic and practice standards for CFP professionals in Indonesia.
